TERRA SOLAR WIND HYDRO RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGIES
TERRA Solar Wind Hydro Renewable Technologies ("TERRA") is made up of professionals who have come together with domestic and international expertise in Power Generation. Our mission is to facilitate technology adoption, project development, skills development, enterprise and workforce development, and alliances with stakeholders at the local, national and international levels in Power Generation. Our goals include: reducing and or reversing the effects of climate change so that future generations of life can continue to enjoy the Earth; doing our part in making the United States the world leader in renewable energy technologies; working to make the renewable energies industry the key component of the United States Energy Sector; and growing the renewable energies industry workforce with the ideals of equality and inclusion. We accomplish these goals through:
Technology - We assist higher educational institutions and historically disadvantaged communities in obtaining the renewable energy technologies needed to advance the institutions’ and communities’ access to the Green Economy.
Education - We provide and/or enhance educational opportunities to our partner institutions and communities that inform and prepare students for the variety of careers within the Enterprise of the Green Economy and Renewable Energies Sector. We also provide mentorship and guidance to students at all levels through our community and business partners who share the common goals of ensuring student success.
Research - We assist institutions, with which we partner, in advancing their capabilities to conduct research and produce innovators that will develop and advance the Green Economy.
Resources – We assist businesses, our partner institutions, and communities in getting the financial resources needed to accomplish their renewable energy and/or Green Economy goals. This includes assisting businesses with obtaining the required permitting for renewable energy projects and developing critical relationships between our partner institutions, communities and leaders in the renewable energies industry that are positioned to assist our academic and community partners in advancing their renewable energy and Green Economy Goals.
Advocacy – Through our contacts and community partnerships, we advocate for our partner institutions and communities at the federal, state and local levels to ensure that they have access to the needed funding to advance their Environmental Justice, Green Economic and Renewable Energy Goals, and to ensure that they have a voice in shaping policy in these areas.
Our team also has first-hand experience with developing green and renewable energy curriculums and forming Academic Industry Advisory Boards at both two-year and four-year educational institutions.
TERRA also has access to technical, policy and financial experts whose experience and knowledge span the globe. Our team affiliate experts have successfully executed renewable, environmental and Green projects in the USA and in nations in various regions of the world including Nigeria, Sierra Leon, Venezuela, Belize, Colombia, Armenia, and Jordan to name a few.
Our team's experience in renewable energies such as solar, wind, geothermal and hydroelectric includes feasibility studies, obtaining financing, financial and economic analysis, resource analysis, agreement negotiation and other related activities needed to provide our partner institutions with renewable energy options they require to achieve their goals.
